Brad Cameron

Brad Cameron is a registered professional structural engineer who joined Nexus in September 2017.  Previously, Brad spent 20 years with Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA), a consulting structural engineering firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington.  At MKA, Brad progressed from a design engineer working on the Seattle Mariners’ baseball stadium to a Principal / Vice-President managing multiple mixed-use and high-rise towers up to 68-stories around the globe.  His experience beyond structural design includes business development, technical peer reviews, coordination of building systems, value engineering, constructability review, sustainable design, and code development.  Project highlights include acting as a Project Director for The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Government / Developer as structural consultant for over 32-million square foot mixed-use city development comprised of 59 towers, convention center, parking garages, museums, aquarium, and other buildings with corresponding infrastructure including bridges, tunnels and monorail.  Past projects also include City Creek Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and the recently completed Brickell City Centre in Miami, Florida.  Brad’s professional affiliations include Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), US Green Building Counsel (USGBC) and Structural Engineers Association of Washington (SEAW).

  

In his Role as Technical Director of Nexus, Brad will manage the design process for all projects and and provide technical assistance and review during both the project design and construction phases.  In addition, Brad will be developing feasibility level system options and participating in value engineering.
